The deep end of the pool is used for lap swimmers, the lane is cross wise. The lifeguards are strict about swimmers having the proper swimming attire. I have seen a lot foreigners turned away many times. So be sure to bring proper swimsuits. There are swimsuits available for hire in the pool area. The facilities are fairly clean but obviously old.

This one of the best maintained swimming complexes in Kuala Lumpur. The changing room area is huge! It's very clean, organized, and swimmers are mindful of lap swimmers by getting out of their way. Swimmers must leave the establishment at the end of each swimming session and pay another MYR 1.00 for the next session, if they want to continue swimming. The lifeguards give tips and swimming pointers to swimmers from time to time.

Great pool, protected against the sun so it's actually one of the very few rather chilly pools in Malaysia, which is good when you intend to do sports.

Pools #1 and #3 are reserved for the national team; Pool 2 is open to the public.
